Wendy joined Blue Oak Academy in 2023, bringing with her more than 25 years of experience in Visalia’s local business community. She has also been deeply involved in the community through the Visalia Chamber of Commerce, where she served as an ambassador, and Visalia Sunset Rotary, where she held leadership roles including Secretary and President. In addition, Wendy dedicated six years to the Rotary Youth Exchange Program as the outbound student coordinator. Throughout her career and service, she has received multiple awards recognizing her leadership, dedication, and ability to effectively see initiatives through to completion.

Wendy is known for her genuine care for others. She is passionate about building strong relationships and fostering a sense of community. Outside of work, she enjoys singing, crafting, baking, a little retail therapy, and—of course—coffee.

A proud mother of four adult children (plus their spouses) and grandmother to four granddaughters, Wendy treasures time with her growing family—especially during the holidays, when the Christmas stockings continue to multiply.

Wendy quickly fell in love with the Blue Oak Academy community and takes great pride in supporting its students, staff, and families. She is especially grateful to share the experience with her oldest granddaughter, Kaleah, as part of the BOA family.
