Erik Johnson is an experienced kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten teacher who brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a love of learning to the Blue Oak Academy community. He enjoys helping young students build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for their educational journey.

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Johnson is an accomplished musician who plays stand-up bass and guitar in several bands. He also enjoys cooking for family and friends, gardening, and tackling projects around the house. An experienced scuba diver, he especially loves diving with his two adult daughters, Claire and Caroline, who are both proud SVA alumni.

And in a true Academies family connection, Mr. Johnson is married to Mrs. Johnson, Blue Oak Academy's Instructional Coach.
